Love the bag! It is hard to pick 1 favorite thing about Great Britain. I love the beautiful castles scattered all over, tea time in a quiet tea shoppe, the rich history. It is all a delicious blend of wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love Great Britain - so much so, in fact, that my five year-old has already visited there three times. My hisband and I have been visiting there every year for years, and I think that is what I love most about Great Britain - that no matter how many times you go there, there is always something new and exciting to do and/or see. Of course we love revisiting places, but no matter how many times we've been there, we always find something interesting and new to do. And I love sharing the history, culture and sights of Great Britain with my daughter, and now she is as much an Anglophile as me!

Like the others, I would prefer to pick several favourite things... first that comes to mind is John Lewis, followed by my family(!), the National Trust, bonfire night, afternoon tea, beach huts, the Cotswolds, Cambridge, London's Olympic efforts, James Bond, Downton Abbey, Aberdeen butteries, sticky-toffee-pudding, Marks and Sparks knickers and.... oh, should I maybe stop now?
ReplyDeleteMy favourite thing about Great Britain is that I was born there! Another favourite thing is all things Scottish, the food, scenery,people and the history. I do miss Marks and Spencers,their food section,and the traditional English menu.The English countryside and the coastline.I have so many things about GB that I love.
ReplyDeleteIt would have to be the beautiful countryside. There's just something about it which drags my heart to study every picture I see of Britain. I love the fact that there are buildings a thousand years old. I hope one day to lay my hands on them and feel the history. I feel peaceful when seeing pictures and reading about that beautiful island. I also love the teas and the idea that everything *does* stop for tea time!

Oh, way too many to choose just one but today I could go for a full english down at the pub...maybe afternoon tea at fortnums... then a show at hammersmith?
ReplyDeletewow thats a loaded question!!! twa time tops my list lol, with all the good books and parks to read them in wow i could get lost over there!! and of coures the jane austen world lol and i live for harry potter! the counrtyside is great look at!! and the country has such a great history. and this bag would help make me very happy <<<<likes to think im british it makes me feel better. that being said it's tea time for me!!
